C.V.N.E was founded in Rioja back in 1879 by two brothers, descendants of whom still run the company today. The first wines of the Bodega were labelled under the C.V.N.E (Compañia Vinicola del Norte de España) name but, following a typo, the Cune brand was born some years later. Today, Cune Crianza is the best-selling Crianza in Spain (Nielsen 2020).

Producing red, white and rosé wine Cune is steeped in rich heritage. Bearing the Spanish flag as the C.V.N.E company shield it is a true ambassador for Spanish wine.

The Cune Crianza is a great introduction into the quality of Cune wines. It is made from premium grapes in the Rioja Alta region and shows classic touches of vanilla and spice combined with juicy red fruit characters, punching well above its weight. A crowd pleasing red wine it makes a perfect, timeless match to any Christmas meal or simply as a warming drop on a December evening.
