COMMITTED TO OUR COMMUNITIES

The majority of our stores are independently owned and all are operated by local people which means we are 100% committed to serving you and your community.

Although we are called Bargain Booze, many of our stores also stock a wide range of everyday essentials from Tea Bags to Toilet Rolls.

We are committed to maintaining good availability throughout this difficult period and most importantly, committed to keeping all our prices fair.

The majority of our stores are open late, with good availability, good value and of course, a friendly face.

Thank you to all our loyal store owners during this difficult period, thank you to all our colleagues and most importantly, thank you to all our loyal customers for continuing to shop local.

We’re in this together and rest assured, 100% committed to our communities – so if we can help with anything please let your local store know.

It’s Barbeque Month

May 5th 2019

It’s Barbeque
Here at Bargain Booze we know how much the UK loves sun, food and drinks, even more on a bank holiday. Well good news… it’s now officially barbeque month!

That’s right, get the burgers on the grill, the ciders poured and the music blaring. Whether you prefer chicken, falafel or beef burger… a hot dog, kebab or even a good ole’ corn on the cob, we have a drink that will go perfectly with your favourite BBQ foods.

Red meats – Fattier cuts of beef or lamb need bolder-flavoured reds with high tannin levels, such as cabernet sauvignon or shiraz.

Botham All Rounder Chardonnay 75cl
Namaqua Reserve Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 75cl
Wolf Blass Yellow Label Cabernet Sauvignon 75cl

Vegetarian – Mushrooms on the BBQ we recommend a drop of pinot noir. Grilled vegetables love a merlot, while vegetarian burgers are lovely with sauvignon blanc.

Yellow Tail Pinot Noir 75cl
Barefoot Merlot 75cl
Graham Norton Sauvignon Blanc 75cl

Pork – Whether you’re having a pork belly or smoky ribs, you can’t go wrong with a nice cool cider. When paired with prime rib or pork belly, spirit’s sour acidity from the corn mash cuts through the heavy swaths of caramelized fat.

Friels Vintage 1st Press Cider 500ml
Kopparberg Raspberry & Lime 10x330ml
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey 70cl
Jim Beam Double Oak

Kebabs – Either a chicken, lamb or even halloumi, kebabs go with a range of wines. From Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot, to Malbec & Shiraz.

Yellow Tail Cabernet Sauvignon 75cl
Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon 75cl
Dark Horse Malbec 75cl
Rosemount Founders Edition Shiraz 75cl
